Ornamental and Structural Details on the Surface of the Bronze Age Lurs
Joachim Schween
The lurs of the Late Bronze Age are a remarkable phenomenon and well researched from different perspectives. This study focuses on the surface structures of the lurs and discusses a systematisation of detectable structures on about fifty instruments. A classiffcation into five categories of surface structures is suggested. The article is based on a poster presentation at the 9th ISGMA Symposium 2014 in Berlin.
